Lil
Hello, It's been a while that I notice A ratle noise coming from the back of the car, It is more noticable when I am using the MANU mode in L around 2-3k rpm. Also on the motorway when I put my foot off the accelerator I can listen to a weird whistle coming from the middle/rear of the car. Last december I fitted a Torsen A01B Diff so the oil on the Diff is pretty much new :/ It is worrying because I think that Torsens doesn't suppose to be noisy ar all.. Any thoughts? Thanks In advance
Guest lloydy
Have you checked the boot rubbers? they're a common cause of rattles from the back of the car.

Lil
It sounds like it's unferneath the car but I will check anyway, I already found the parnumber of the rubbers sto I will order them in any case.
listy
Are your heat shields still in place around the exhaust? If it's loose it can rattle at lower RPM, and the air pushing past it may cause the whistling sound. Boot rubbers only really make noise over bumps etc and I wouldn't expect that to cause a whistle at higher speeds.
