Twin turbo
Hello does anyone know if acturator to intake air control valve (IACV) and exhaust gas control valve (EGCV) will operate during 4000rpm while car is in park/netural? I See no reaction from acturator and wondering if it is normal while car is in neutral or there or there is a problem with the vsv.what could be wrong
Jos
As far as I know they will only operate under load, so not in neutral? howmuch boost are you seeing and is there a noticable transition at 3700-4000 rpm?
CanisLupus
No reaction. It needs load to operate. The ECU shifts the point of activation according to the load(i.e.boost).
Twin turbo
Thats good news :)my only issue now is why i have a rough idle at start when engine is cold, it only last a few seconds though and idle is fine 99 percent of the time when engine has normal temperature, exept a little hikkup now and then.have tested that idle control valve makes that click when i stop the engine,or actually sounds more like 3 clicks.my car has only 25000km on the odometer so i belive that there is no deposit inside the valve.
