Slam
Not yet. I'm buying around £4K in new parts ready for a respray. Once I have all the parts and the respray is booked then I might. I've done a few bits so far. Repaired the collapsed Recaro bolster. Replaced Dashboard. Replaced dash panels. Changed door cards and handles. Installed GZ rear speaker pods. Installed factory black front bumper trim Installed factory number plate surrounds Installed OEM metal pedal set. Installed OEM knee pads Cleaned and applied new oil to K&N intake. The massive problem with the carbon scuttle is that it removes all the holes for the ventilation system. Or do some have holes built in? Are the metal pedals still available at Mr t .Any pics pls. mwilkinson
Are the metal pedals still available at Mr t .Any pics pls. Not that I'm aware of. My car came with two of them and I was fortunate enough to find the remaining two for sale soon after I bought my car. However, they are very basic and I'm surprised none of the traders have considered making a replica set.

mwilkinson
I've just thrown another £3K at Toyota for parts. New facelift rear lights. New facelift front indicators. New facelift side markers. New lower bumper trim. New bumper to bonnet seal. New rear engine bay seal. New front windscreen seal. New rear windscreen seal. New wiper arm (have 2 already). New badges all round. New full door rubbers. New door and roof trim. New Qtr windows. New hockey sticks, front and rear including the bits under the body. Finally a host of nuts and bolts etc.. With my recently purchased other items, once the car is resprayed it will be super clean and fresh. Can't wait for them all to arrive. mwilkinson
I've got a few more parts numbers, although these are for more misc parts like nuts and bolts etc. I also have part numbers for the wiper arms and washer nozzles.

mwilkinson
I've been using this website to get EPC pictures and part numbers. Just have to remember its for a USDM Supra. So some part number just wont work with UK and J-Spec cars. I sometime cross reference these to the EPC on ToyoDIY website. http://www.toyotapartsoverstock.com/
formatzero
What amazes me is that you can still get all those parts.Looks like you will have a fantastic car when your done mate.
mwilkinson
Call from Steve today. All my parts are in. Toyota are delivering them to me personally due to the cost of the order and issue around damage to parts by couriers. I can't fault the customer service. Steve should be dropping them off next week at some point. It's going to be like Christmas.
mwilkinson
All the parts were delivered by Steve last week. I had a single outstanding door seal which arrived this week.

Rob W
Nice, like that. You're going the full way with new parts. Check the rear quater glasses are not out of shape, I remember badly saying that he's sent back a fair few when doing full respray as they have been out of shape. I've opened the one in the box and I didn't notice any obvious deformation. The other is securely wrapped and the overall shape appears correct. Any idea as to how warped the others were?
