Phlukey
Cheers Kaan, I hope so. Plans have been changing and there's some interesting new ideas in the pipeline. SRD are moulding the car into something which should be a great setup once finished.

Abz
Will be up there now with the best once it is complete! Think you need a new name for it though!

ripped_fear
Wow I can remember seeing this at supra pod years ago and being gob smacked. Since then the look of engine bays has had the bar lifted, and this should continue to be up there with the best.

Andrew K
This is going to be amazing once finished and can't wait to see it never thought there would be anything left to do to the bay as it looked awesome before, but from what I can see so far it's going to be even better
jazz1
I'm pretty sure Uzzy mentioned there was an amazing white looking supra with a massive turbo down SRD, must have been yours.

Phlukey
Thanks for the kind comments everyone Photos are courtesy of Lee and Simon, so have them to thank for those. Right.... I've had quite a few people asking about giving the car a name change seeing as it's now changing so much from its original build and I'm thinking they're right, so the question is what to change the name to? My favourite option at the moment is 'SRD3000GT' seeing as the car is fitted with a TRD kit and Toyota originally dubbed their TRD widebody cars as TRD3000GT's....plus gives a nice nod to all the hard work SRD are doing on the car. Also this name doesn't tie me to a dyno target figure like other SRD projects....... Unless anyone thinks 3000bhp is achievable from a 2JZ..... I know it's not achievable from my wallet however Any renaming suggestions welcome if you can think of any before I change the thread title. mellonman
Holy moly looks great, probably one of the cleanest supras out there with the amount of times its been stripped down and re built top work

Hitbox Junkie
I don't like the idea of changing the cars name. But that's because I think they have soul and feelings Looks like this build is going to have a amazing end result Another well build car from SRD. Rob_Mitchell
SRD3000GT sounds miles better and also represents lee and the teams efforts in building a perfect car

Phlukey
Thanks again for the kind comments guys 'The Phluken' is a nice idea, but too close to 'The Kraken' I think. Think I'm gunna go with SRD3000GT Got a nice private plate to go on the car once Lee it's finished. Don't think I can transfer it over until the car is taxed and MOT'd again though? Phlukey
Simon painted my bay today and he's done an amazing job. I'm really chuffed with the result .......
Phlukey
Next stage is to finish the underside of the car in white underseal. Simon has already done the front arches, so this is what it should look like...... Reminds me of when you see WRC shells being prep'd

Haha you aren't alone in that thought! Though to be fair Simon has stripped so many Supra's he knows them off by heart now! Looks fantastic Phil!
