supra_24
Hey guys, Got my supra in the garage at the moment and pretty much having everything thoroughly checked over and have gearbox leak, alignment and new clutch plus flywheel done. Although I thought I'd just ask a question in regards to the lsd fitted. Basically had an LSD fitted to my supra by Whifbitz a while back, which was custom fitted to my 5 speed Tt supra. But noticed that the LSD is fitted with just the one LSD bolt. Although another can be fitted on the right side. I have been told that this is fine for my setup. But just wondered what you guys thought and would it be worth fitting the right side as we'll at some stage? Any advise appreciated. Gaz6002
So it's only bolted to the car on one side?
supra_24
We'll not sure the name of the bolt that runs all the way through to secure it, but Horsham developments pointed it out. I was told by Whifbitz it's nothing to worry about. It's all secure, but apparently the fitting bolt that runs through on the right side could cost £150. Seems a lot. supra_24
By the way it's an NA she'll with a TT LSD custom fitted onto it. Not sure that makes a difference? Also not sure I'm describing it we'll, but it's the large bolt that runs through the middle of the LSD on the right side. Forgotten the name. Believe it's the right diff mount. Timlowthian
I noticed this when I looked under my N/A on research here was only bolted both sides on a TT and NA just had the Left side bush and bolt. You can however fit the other side if you get one.
Nic
As said some NA models just had the one diff mount, easy enough to fit one on the other side.
