Mikalor clamp size for stock inlet...

My jubilee were popping off underboost so I need some upgraded ones, I measured the internal diameter of the stock pipework as 74mm...

 

Do I need the clamp size of 73-79 or 68-73mm?

Have you tried genuine jubilee? Also have a look at Murray clamps...

how thick is the pipe bud? are you using stock black pipe or some sort of samco hose?

 

if you use a samco and its around 4mm thick(maybe thicker) then you are looking at the size 79mm-85mm

because you have the internal which is 74 + the extra 8mm thickness pipe = 82mm

it will compress down when clamped but if you were to get the 73-79mm clamp you would have a hard game getting it on and you wouldnt get the 68-73mm on at all bud

 

if your still using the stock pipe then you can just check the thickness and work it out bud or post back

i forgot the thickness of the stock pipe but i think it maybe close to 4mm,

I'd go for the 73-79 mm to allow for the hoses as Ash says

I am using an ebay intercooler pipework with ASH (auto silicone hose) its slightly thicker than the hose that came with the ebay kit

I will go for the bigger clamp size, worse case I can always send it back
