Jellybean
These installed correctly, taught the Disc slot rotation should be in the direction of the discs forward rotation https://scontent-b-ams.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xpa1/v/t1.0-9/10367786_550511018427427_2834525408899706153_n.jpg?oh=b9c95549beacb88d6a87350cc462a6db&oe=54C978E2
benkei
I thought they went the other way, so heat and brake dust and the like were pushed to the outside and thus off the disc, not to the centre...
Dnk
Its the vanes in the vented section that hand the discs Here you go hopefully this explains it for you http://www.cquence.net/blog/how_to_properly_install_performance_brake_rotors/ Edited September 20, 2014 by Dnk spelling (see edit history)
Chris Wilson
In practice there's little operational difference, but normally that disc would be considered to be rotating backwards. If the cooling vanes are directional, inside the discs, then they are are more critical to have orientated correctly.
