Guest Ro8
Hi this is my first post but I have read up a bit on Supra's and I have wanted one for years. I currently have an immaculate mr2 turbo and have decided I want a cruiser. I am 25 and have just bought my first home with my wife so the budget is tight. Running costs are not an issue as I live 1 mile from work and am used to low 20s mpg with the mr2. I am not after power so am considering an n/a auto as a weekend cruiser. My budget is £3000. Is this realistic?
rider
Its a realistic spend for a N/A and you could even find a lower end auto TT at that price. It'd have to be a bit of a dog though so best stick to looking for a tidy N/A. When I purchased my car in 1998 it was the 6th I looked at. If you aren't in a hurry bide your time for the right vehicle as that'll pay dividends later. I'm proud of my selection as its proved uber reliable and as I'm often keen to say, it has never so much as ever blown a bulb in 16 years of ownership. Guest Ro8
That sounds like the sort of thing I'm after. I am after something within the next 7weeks as that's when my mr2 comes off the road for the winter. I have access to a workshop and tools and am pretty good with mechanics so will service and upgrade brakes, bushes etc. as long as it's tidy I'm not mad on power.
