j_jza80
£6k. Lovely car stunning looks, and that engine spec is how NA-T should be done.
Josh42
£6k. Lovely car stunning looks, and that engine spec is how NA-T should be done. Hi Jay, Thanks for that! Was hoping for a little more but appreciate that it's a converted car and therefore not to everyone's taste. I just couldn't find another NA-T, manual, Aerotop to gauge it against. j_jza80
It's unique, so it is hard to say. The main issue is the W58, if it had a Getrag box, I'd say £8k-£9k. But if I were selling the car, I would probably put it on the market for £7k and see what offers you got.

Cheers mate, much appreciated The only bench mark I have is FOSTA's NA-T auto Aero sold for £8.5 recently. Although I think that had a syvecs fitted
Hitbox Junkie
Did you do the manual conversion yourself? I would value this at 7k if it were mine. lovely looking supra Edited September 10, 2014 by Hitbox Junkie (see edit history)
tooquicktostop
I would value it at 8K for insurance and substantiate the amount with a parts list with prices, it might not sell for that but insurance value is slightly different
Abz
Agreed with Dean above for insurance purposes, it is a lovely looking car and worth I'd say £7k being an aero top in good nick.
The Raven
For insurance wouldnt find another one for anyless than 8k
Dnk
Higher for insurance, push it as far as you can, i'd be aiming at £10k and see what your insurance comp will go to, my car was £13k agreed value but sold for £10k after a long time
SPG
I think the cars worth around the £7/8k mark for resale, but as others have mentioned, maybe around £9.5k for insurance purposes. I really like this car, the stylings right (IMO). Having had a paint refresh, that red really shows the car of beautifully.
Josh42
Anymore for anymore? Thanks everyone for your kind comments. Renewal is tomorrow:)
Graham1984
I think the above information is all you need really mate. The respray/conversion/aerotop all push it above the normal selling price and some IMO, most NA-TT for example are usually around 5.5k aren't they so with the previously mentioned I think 7-8k would be a fair value for a NA with a new turbo kit/mapped etc.
Josh42
Bump, now looking to potentially sell the car as is or convert back to NA and sell the single kit. What does everybody think would see the best return?
Hitbox Junkie
Are you looking to sell or for insurance purpose a value? Any ways if its insurance 8-9K Selling as its w58 not the 6 speed then id would put it at the market at 8k looking to sell around 6-8K. Looks amazing though always love the Aero tops

Josh42
Why? You've not even had time to enjoy it yet mate. Shame after all the hard work. I really want something different mate and I suppose I've just set my sights on something else. I'd really like a white TT6. Just thinking it may be time to call the curtain on this now before I spend any more major amounts of money on it.

I'm glad I never thought/got as far into it as you did as I would of regretted it. It's such a slippery slope as I wanted to respray mine, in the end I realised it wouldn't stop there and the power desires creep in.
