In need of help asap!!! I have just removed my cluster from my dash changed the bulbs to red led and put it all back together. Now when a start the car my needles are all out by miles and nothing lights up the cluster!! Changed the ignition barrel one too and that was fine but that's not working either!! Please tell me there is an easy fix as it's my daily driver!!

Right checked all new bulbs at least 5 of them and everyone was the wrong way!!! What's the chances so everything is all good with lights. Now it just reads this when running. At the back a can only see one wire. Unsure if it's from the old alarm or this is what's causing the issue. Cant see where is would go. pics below. Any suggestions?

Use a sat nav and pick a long long stretch of road, monitor the speed on the satnav and hold it at a safe speed of say 25mph as indicated on the sat nav, then get a friend to push the needle back on the shaft pointing at that speed. It may take a few attempts to get it right, but you should be able to do it. as for the rev counter, let it warm up and then when its warm and ticking over nice and stable stick the needle back on at 750 ish or whatever your car used to tick over at. I did it this way when I bought some stainless steel dials from Konrad's group buy many years ago for my old NA. Took a few attempts with the speedo but we did get there.

There is a more accurate way of doing it, but that will involve a signal generator and some maths.
