Dnk
I was thinking of getting mine done for the same reason. Would be taking it somewhere reputable like PW Pro though. Mine was supposed to be by someone reputable, a venture shield approved installer

Al Massey
I actually have loads of Matt black in my van left over. Got plenty to do a car, and I'll let you use my sprayer to save you buying one. 2 tubs so 10 litres is enough to do a full car with some left over incase of any mistakes. You want to do about 7 coats to get it perfect. It's very easy to do.
Big Supes
Depends who does it, some places have a tendency to cut through the wrap into your paintwork which could be a very expensive problem. I had the front of my car done with a clear wrap to save stone chips and wished i'd never bothered, i had to re paint the bumper in the end We cut on vehicles, but you should never have to have direct contact between the blade and the panel. It just takes time, which is why I would avoid anyone doing it cheap. Venture shield is the way to go for protection against stone chips and even scrapes. It's awesome stuff, but a bit of a bitch to fit. Edit, just seen you have venture shield fitted. What was up with it in the end?

Tommyd16
Intrested in pics. How much it cost?
walkerstrider
Matt black, chose this as its meant to be the easiest to do. I've never done it before so it's not 100 % perfect but it's so much better than the knackered silver underneath! I'll try and get some pics up later. The supermarket is calling! walkerstrider
I paid £350 for the full kit with next day delivery. Put 8 coats on which took around 6 hours.
