Steve
My current exhaust was a Boostlogic 4" that has been modified numerous times (additional silencer fitted ) over the last 6 years or so. After one of my exhaust rubber mounts broke, this has cracked the middle silencer due to the added weight, I am now just thinking of having a complete new exhaust. I am considering a 3" system with a cutout valve halfway down to have a straight open system for high boost and then with the valve closed it would go through some silencers and on to the backbox. This would be for low boost and times i want it quiet. Do you think this would cause much of a restriction even with the valve open and no silencers compared to the 4" system i currently have? I don't want the car to drop the power level and i know some have had restrictions with the 3" systems and high power. Or would it be better to keep the 4" DP and go 4" to the cutout valve then reduce to 3" after this point? Cheers
