Another TT6 from London

Hello Everyone,

My name is Peter and as probably all of you I am completely anal ( no worries got missus and two kids) with cars. I always wanted a Supra but could never find a right time or example to buy it. I joined the forum in OCT2013 and spend a lot of time reading posts........

I always wanted TT6 and nothing else, after months of failures in finding the right one I saw post fron JM Imports regarding three Supras, ready to be shipped. I contacted Jurgen and got myself a 1993 with 69k kms on the clock.

Knowing Jurgen's reputation I could not resist it.....now I shall wait till end of September to see it in flesh....:(

I am coming from a Honda background: had two Preludes BB4, civic, and fully built Accord type R 284bhp NA - i know this bhp is a bit of laugh comparing to Supras but for four cylinder 2.2 engine with no turbo it is a very high number. Currently I drive BMW 545i V8 with 370 bhp and 500Nm of torque - great car but I have no feelings to it....

Soon new car in my hands and massive list of to do things...take care and hope to meet some of You in near future.

Welcome and good buy. Speaking of paintwork I'm another London member who needs to get the paintwork sorted on the car.

I can ask my friend who owns professional respray shop in hanger lane for 3 cars he would do each car at £2k mark. That is professional respray....with car being in the oven etc...

Anyone in north london?

Me NW London - Hendon

Thats impressively low mileage - Just over 2000 Miles per year. Congrats.

Looking at interior pictures it's certainly looks like that.

Where abouts in Hanger Lane? Don't think I've ever seen a body shop around there? I live in Hayes so about 10 mins drive however I'm always along the A40/A406 as the inlaws live in Wembley by the big IKEA so am always going that way.

Glass, Windows he said will incure further costs, plus they are not great fans of removing rear screen or windscreen as they might crack.

Garage is located just by Hanger Lane - I can drop you his number or if no rush all of you can wait and see mine first. I resprayed my ATR in there and all of my friends go for any paintwork, as they do quality work. I would say they are somewhere in the middle, price wise.

Hi, I am going for original 202 oxy black - obviously they will prep the car with all dings and dongs around repaired before painting. Full respray 2 weeks minimum.

I would keep yours red as well, OEM colours hold value better and red with black add ons look astonishing.

OEM is OEM, and red is my second best colour.

I seen red Supra with black wheels, trd black spoiler, mirrors, diffuser and it wąs a pure porn.

Supra is a very unique car regarding styling , it does not require aftermarket bumpers, skirts, wings etc. Pure OEM look, nice 18 inch wheels, Carbon diffuser , 40 mm drop and it is done!
