drift_bear Posted August 27, 2014 Share Posted August 27, 2014 Was just speaking to a friend that has picked up a supra, its a 96 facelift but has the W58 gearbox. Going by the guides on here, it says that the facelift never came with the 6 speed, and was only 6 speed, auto or trip. Did the early facelifts come with the W58? They made the SZ 5 speed all the way through until production ceased in 2002. I guess there just appear less because the SZ-R was available with the 6 speed by the time the facelift rolled out so the 5 speed doesn't saturate the market the same.
