Jake
It was some kinda breather pipe or something that had come loose. http://www.btinternet.com/~duncandriver/Supra/LoosePipe.jpg It seems to fall off again real easy though. I suppose I need to replace the Y shaped plastic pipe connector thingy. Anyone know what it's correctly called? I'd have to get it from me local Toyota dealer, right? Terminator
It looks like the Y piece has lost an arm:eek:

There's still some of the pipe there but it's shorter than it should be.
Guest Martin F
I would sort that ASAP as that pipe goes to the fuel pressure regulator, quite an essential piece of kit. It sounds like you have been running extremely rich at idle which would be due to this pipe being disconnected. Your fuelling will be all over the show. In that case IMHO i wouldn't boost until you have it fixed up properly. Not worth the chance of buggering your engine.
Terminator
I would get a T piece, as a temporary fix, they are avaiable from most motor spares shops. IMHO the original Toyota part, which is made of metal, is far more reliable that those cheap nylon bits.
