gavin.starr
Seeing as my wheels are in need of a real good refurb im thinking of just replacing them with some new XXR wheels These are what i have in mind http://www.srbpower.com/productimage.php?product_id=79263 The wheels are 18 x 8.5 offset 25 and 18 x 10 offset 25 What size tyres will i be able to use on these as i really want as much grip on the rears as possible. Any help would be great
mattdavies
You would need an Arch roll / cut and then you would prob get a 275/35 on them and under the arches, but definitely 265/
Luxluc
JamieP had these sizes on the black duck. Check for the thread.
JamieP
JamieP had these sizes on the black duck. Check for the thread. No mate, different wheels, different widths and offsets on the Duck. Talk to SupersizeJim as he has just fitted some in he link above to his car.

Rich.2211
I ran these. 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 is what I ran and I wouldn't want to go any wider. I had the rear arch lips trimmed back but a roll would of sufficed. You may squeeze a 275/35 on the rear depending on ride height.
tony tt
I've 285 on my rears and had to get the lip cut and the rear raised slightly as it squatted on the tire. When these ones are done I'll go back to a 265 again I think.
Mcdade
Im running xxr's the same size and im on 235/40 front and 265/35 rears with arches rolled on rear too.
Guest Budz86
I reckon you'd get a 285 on there with a more aggressive offset. Go for something like a 50 I'm planning on running 295 or 305's with just an arch cut! But the offset will need to be 50 at least
tony tt
Offsets are limited though with XXR wheels are they not? I didn't think they came with a lot to choose from.
JamieP
Jim has 285's on the back of his, 10" wide with a 25 offset.
Guest Budz86
Not sure what offsets they offer actually. Be useful to know for when I start my wheel shopping....

gavin.starr
I think the only offsets they do is 20 25 and
Marty
I have xxr wheels on mine (see my new supra thread) they are 25s, 10.5" on the rear, don't think the arches have been rolled, i'll check tomorrow

Mine had NO choice but to get done. With the new Tein Coilovers I put on, Jamie strongly recommended a roll on it.. And boy I'm glad I did, cos there's no way even with a 'lowish car' you would have had trouble. Looks the nuts tho!
