Homer
To answer your question directly Jamie, Yes, they are both 3.266 on the jspec cars. Euro cars had a different ratio which is not documented on the NZ site.

j_jza80
The gear ratio calculator lists the various diff ratios: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?225050-Supra-specific-gear-diff-ratio-and-tyre-size-calculator
Littler
Yep both small case are the same, it's the uk 6 speed big diff that's different at 3.
CanisLupus
Yep both small case are the same, it's the uk 6 speed big diff that's different at 3.133 Only diff with3.13 is the US spec 6speed. Here is an overview of the different diffs with ratios; http://www.mkiv.de/artikel/allgemein/differentiale/ Edit: English version of the table http://www.supra-forum.com/articles/general/differentials/

It would be interesting to find out where Homer got the indo from when he made the gearing calculator.

Had a look on Toyodiy.com and confirmed my post above... the UK Spec 6Sp RHD JZA80R-AJFVZW(aerotop) has the same Part Number as the EU Spec stated in my links. Namely: 41201-80055 FINAL GEAR RATIO=49:15=3.267 The Second RHD 6SP i've found JZA80R-ALFVZW(Hardtop) has the same number and comment: 41201-80055 FINAL GEAR RATIO=49:15=3.267 Honestly i couldn't think of that much differences between the UK Spec TT and the EU Spec TT except the Steering wheel and some other minor changes(Headlight Sprays etc). Technically they are the same AFAIK.
JamieP
There is no such thing as a UK aerotop.
CanisLupus
Was wondering too... Don't know where a rhd Euro modell with aerotop and 6sp was sold if ever has been?
j_jza80
There were no factory RHD Turbo 6 speed Aerotops. The only RHD manual Aerotops are a rumoured few NAs, but I'm yet to see one.
