Supralee
Afternoon guys. I'm really confused about changing my current 300km dials to a new set which reads 180mph. Basically want to upgrade the design but cant find any 300km ones. Now my 300km dials have been converted to mph and labelled as such which results in only using half the speedo. Now it goes up in mph so if I was to change the dials the layout would be wrong even though it's going technically from mph to mph.hope that makes sense. May be over thinking this but any help would be greatly appreciated. Apologies if I I'm being completely thick.. have scoured the forum but can only find about converting from kph to mph. makri
So your speedo is in km/h? And you want to change the dial to read mph? How did you convert it to read mph on the 300km/h dial? You took of the needle and replaced it? Edited August 16, 2014 by makri typo (see edit history)

Supralee
Speedo was an original 300km dial replaced with a mph sticker (before I bought it) and now goes up in mph *must of been converted). But if I was to replace with a mph dial the dials are out of sync ( eg my dial 120 at top and one I want mph dial 80 at top ) . Make any sense . Original One i want to replace
makri
Maybe they have used something like this for the conversion?? http://www.ebay.com/itm/TOYOTA-SPEEDO-CONVERTER-DELIMITER-SUPRA-CELICA-LUCIDA-/250453584555
natony
You'll have to replace the actual speedo aswell as the 300km gauges use different resistors so you'll need to swap out the speedo for a 180km gauge and then put your new face on it.
