Guest Dannytk
Hi all, Just joined up as I will be looking to buy a supra next march. I've just sold my mk5 golf r32 and want to move to a supra. I fancy a rear wheel drive an I've always loved supras. Just never had one, My previous cars were all got hatches and I'm looking forward to a change. Fiesta st Megan 225 Golf mk5 r32 I fancy a aerotop but I need a manual. So looks like ill be going for a facelift rz. I will be keeping an eye out and if the right one comes along I'll buy it before march. I prefer a standard one or little mods as I enjoy modding it myself using recommended garages. Just wondering has anyone ever put a manual into a aero top? Is it worth going straight single turbo on the power instead of messing with the twin turbos first to then find single is the way to go? I'll read around any how an plan the next project over winter. Cheers Dan
The Raven
Yup lots of people have put a 6 speed into a Aero. What kind of power do you want and how much do you have to play with? They never made a facelift Aero TT? So you are looking for a TT, then you want faclift bits (lights markers) Then you want a 6 speed, then a big single kit. Thats got to add up to near on 30k if its done right Edited August 15, 2014 by The Raven (see edit history)
Guest Dannytk
Ye I'm scanning through the guides on here and see it's going to be difficult to find an exact car I want as they seem to be getting quite rare. An I'll be looking to throw 15k initially into the buy and a few tweaks to ensure it's all good. Then I'm sure over a few years they'll be more spent on it. I've decided not to go for the aero as people say it's heavier an the body has more flex in it. So just a tt 6speed , an 450+hp will be a start.
