Guest miklemorr
I have a 94 supra turbo swapped standard with the R154 transmission and it cuts off at about 110mph in 4th same thing in 5th I was wondering if it was possible to unlock the speedlimiter or it was just because of the tranny swap!! straightsix
You'll need a speed limit remover. Pretty simple to fit. HKS or similar will do one.
Guest miklemorr
should I but the type 1 (standard) or type 2(auto) because originally the car was auto and you have tu plug it tu the ECU?? help
straightsix
Probably type 1 as it's now a manual and will be pretty much wired as such. You have to connect ignition controlled live, ground, signal in and signal out - 4 wires in total in the ECU loom. Solder the connections as it's more reliable and won't cause problems with dodgy connectors. I guess you're still using the Auto ECU?
