Guest philclark1985
HI Guys, I have a J-Spec NA and looking for a new exhaust back box as mine has developed a pretty big hole! Any recommendations of brands/ companies to look at? Cheers, Phil
Stevo
HKS Silent Hi-Power mate. They do one specifically for an NA fitting and think Whifbitz stock them. Lovely noise at WOT but not too loud at idle.

Guest philclark1985
Just had a look and, as good as it looks, seems very pricey. Am currently looking around at alternatives, are the fitments the same for the NA and the TT if I just went for cat-back?
Nic
So it currently has a standard exhaust fitted? If you want to stay with the stock exhaust then I'd try your local exhaust fitter and see if there is a pattern part available. If you want an aftermarket exhaust then you could fit a complete cat back system - this replaces the back box and mid pipe - this will free up a bit of power but will also make the car a lot louder. http://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/toyota/supra/exhausts-decats.html Alternatively you could fit a Blitz NUR S back box, this only replaces the stock back box and connects to the stock mid pipes http://www.blitz-uk.co.uk/ProductItem-2182.aspx Edited August 6, 2014 by Nic (see edit history)
Elmo
Fitment is the same, but NA is 2.5", TT is 3". Make sure you get the correct size (I know through experience)

Yes fitment is the same, any cat back exhaust will fit any Supra, however most aftermarket cat back systems are designed for the turbo Supra, if fitted to an NA they can be a very loud. natony
I'm in exactly the same boat, i've got my mot next month and my back box hanger has just decided to fall off. I've tried the local exhaust places and as soon as i say its a non turbo i get told they don't do one for that car.

Try Powerflow Exhausts, they will make a custom Stainless catback exhaust to fit your car with the correct size tubing, you can also choose the type and size of tailpipe you want. What Nic said, but it's not just a loudness thing, you will also lose performance, and on an NA you want every bit of performance you can get! Guest philclark1985
Thanks Elmo! Will check them out, although just found out an old school mate has a company who specialise in custom exhausts and he's offered to do me a deal. Result! On an NA I'd spec 2.5" tubing and use 2 good quality silencers, one on the mid pipe and the rear back box.
