Rummy
Hi all Just doing some brake anti-squeak maintenance and wheel cleaning and discovered this on the NSF hub: http://youtu.be/TBWQSGJKAOc Is it likely to be some hub retaining bolt loose? Is it easy to locate and service without some horrendously priced "special tool" or does it look U/S and better off getting another hub? I havn't noticed any knocking or adverse activity from that side with the wheel bolted up but it's probably not doing the bolts any good under braking in the long term with that movement, so need to get this sorted one way or the other as soon as. Thanks in advance
Ric
The supra discs don't have any retaining bolt, they are held by the wheels, perfectly normal.
Rummy
The supra discs don't have any retaining bolt, they are held by the wheels, perfectly normal. Nice one. Cheers Ric. I was just concerned as the other side didn't have any play. Happy days
Chris Wilson
The other side will be rusted on, that's why Toyota put two 8mm threaded holes in the disc flanges, so you can screw in two 8mm threaded bolts and push them off the hubs, but some people still prefer clouting them with a big hammer
