pauldoug
Ive had this for a while but ive not used the car much and not had the funds to sort it. Its been mentioned in mot's as slight oil leak in advisory section. Its going in for MOT tomorrow and before I hear any dreaded news, can anyone give me an idea to the probable cause. I know the pictures aren't much to go by. Just thought I'd ask, thanks for any info in advance, Paul

Ill second that, the O ring round the distributer shaft. Also, that engine needs a damn good clean!

Stevo
Nope - just a simple o ring replacement but Toyota don't sell the part individually, mine was part of a complete gasket kit. Might want to consider replacing the rotor arm whilst you're at it.
Dazzi
I have a distributor o ring here if you need one. Simple job really just don't mess the timing up. You will need a strobe light to adjust the timing back to 10 degrees or make a mark around the distributor adjustment nut so you know where to align it to once tightening it back up.
