Breather help

Recommended Posts

As per my recent purchase thread there seems to be a breather system installed on the motor that appears to have been done with a garden hose...

I know sod all about breather systems and why they're there but ideally would like it looking more stock so unless anyone tells me they're the best thing since sliced bread i would like to remove it.

Looking closely it appears to be simply putting back the 2 missing hoses as per these pics, and removing the catch can.

Is it that simple?

The one on left side appears to be T12262-46020

And I cant tell if the one on right is T12263-46010 or T12264-46010

Any help or advice is appreciated.

Thanks!

Its easy to revert back to stock, people use catch cans so that you dont get oil vapour mixing with the air intake as it can leave an oil film on the inside of the intake pipework and intercooler.

Looks like there is also some other water bypass line running from front to back, cant really see in the pic, whats that all about?
