Branners
The indicator bulb in the side indicator unit on my bumper has come loose. It's a facelift so its actually in the side of the bumper and not the wing. I have tried everything to get the indicator bulb and housing to mount in but I seem unable to do it. Anybody got any diagrams of how it fits or how it twists to make it lock in?
natony
Its just the usual quarter turn fitment, i fitted some clear ones on mine today
Benjy
They can be a bit fiddly but as above, just a push and twist mate.
Branners
yep, tried the push and twist, kept turning the bulb holder until it felt like it slotted in but wouldnt twist up or down!! I will try again.
Benjy
I would pop the lamp off if you're really struggling.
Branners
Just remembered, this is an after market Stillen front bumper. I will try and take off the plastic cover for the indicator and see if I can work it out from there. The nearside one is locked in fine. Benjy
Is it the side repeater or the indicator and side light assembly?
Branners
side repeater.
JamieP
I've got a pair of stock orange ones here if it turns out one of yours is damaged John.
Benjy
I'll have my clear ones coming off soon too. I've ordered some shiny new ones!
Kaan W
I had the same issue with both of mine, I just assumed it was down to the bulb holders being a different fitment as the light units are facelift. All the groves line up but it won't twist, I ended up sticking a blob of silicone on the bulb holder to keep it there.
