masterfett
Been trying to search for some answers to this but have drawn blanks. If anyone has a relevant link please feel free to point me in the right direction. if not... I drive my car to work as a daily during the summer months and to be honest its a bit wasted i do alot of slow driving, being auto im quite oftern hearing the turbo start to spool but due to driving slow its really A) not picking up speed and B) wasting my fuel. Had considered doing the TTC mod, but my question is, will it actually improve my mpg or is the fact that the engine is designed to be running boost even if tiny amounts better than running it without any, mpg wise. Sorry if this has been asked before but i cant find it. P.s performance wise i love the sequential set up .. just curious really!

Chris Wilson
You'll get better MPG if you leave the sequential set up as is. The engine will be less efficient with that mod to remove the sequential control.

Gaz6002
If you get it mapped to compensate for the fuelling mis-match then it'll be better on fuel if you stay off boost. It'll drive better too. TTC without tweaking the fuelling is a bad move IMO. Get yourself a way to control the fuel and TTC is actually quite good. I liked it. It also gets you ready for the excitement of single turbo

As for single turbo, that will never be happening whole plan for my car is to keep it as toyota intended - minus the few power tweaks Long term i think as the supra gets older a tidy twin turbo that hasn't been single'd or had bodykits etc will be far more sought after. Just my opinion however!
