Blitz dual sbc Boost controller help

Duty is what controls the level of boost, and gain is how fast it spools Mike.

Keep the gain setting low to start with, maybe around 10. Turn the duty up in small increments, until you hit the boost level you want - it will take a few wot runs to get there. Once you're happy with your boost level, increase the gain to bring the turbo on boost faster, again in small increments.

If the gain is set too high, it'll over boost and could cause damage. If it starts spiking, turn the gain down.

And always keep the gain lower than duty.

I've just fitted a gfb ebc to mine, and with the duty at 52, I hit just over 1.1 bar. My gain is set at 12 and it spools up quickly.

Incidentally, my setting are identical to the gizzmo boost controller I had, which achieved the same results - leading me to believe that most boost controllers should in essence be similar

Yes that should be right bud, just make sure you use the correct two ports on the solenoid, the correct way around!

I just swapped them round and its pretty much the same. Peak boost does go up when i increase duty but nothing major. However ive just noticed that my boost gauge and turbo timer show a higher boost peak than the boost controller. Boost controller says 0.35 peak and my turbo timer says 0.55. Big difference

Have you got it setup correctly?

It maybe easier for you to put it into Auto mode rather than manu while you trouble shoot.

You can then select your boost level in bar and it should climb to that figure and stay there

Do i have to hit higher speeds? As it hits higher boost in higher gears. My peak hit 0.55 at 60 duty. I thought it should be hitting more. Does my laggy turbo effect this?

No.

You will be able to hit full boost in all gears apart from maybe 1st.

Just try setting it to auto and setting it at 1.2bar. It should then hit 1.2 bar consistently - If not then something is wrong and the trouble shooting can start
