Josh42
Hi guys, Maybe a little specialist, but just need to vent and get some ideas from yourselves. Car is running the Whifbitz NA-T kit BorgWarner S360 Siemens DEKA 650cc injectors Fuel pulsation damper bypass GTE Headgasket ECU Master EMU standalone-w/built in 4bar MAP sensor Inovit wideband AFR sensor I have replaced the HT leads, distributor cap and rotor arm all for new OEM items. At around 4k RPM I'm getting an intermittent misfire that is really starting to hack me off. I've checked ignition timing and it's set to bang on 10degrees, if we increase the coil dwell, the issue goes away and the car will happily boost to 1.3 bar without any signs of det. Any ideas on something I should be looking at? Edited July 20, 2014 by Josh42 (see edit history)
Josh42
The car appears to over fuel when missing, as opposed to under fuel...

Josh42
No idea as yet mate. A tapping turned into a knocking. Drained the oil and there doesn't seem to be big chunks of steel in there, but the knock definitely sounded terminal.

SupraP-Z
Ah sorry to hear that bud. Would be interesting to know how that happened, as the bottom end is in essence the same as a TT. Good thing is, NA engines come cheap - hope you can find one quick!
