msmile
Hi guys! Looking to skim and balance custom flywheel for my v8 manual project. Decided not to take crank out unfortunately. Could you suggest enyone to do the job? Cheers!

Chris Wilson
Balancing a flywheel without the crank coming out of the engine means finding a spare crank or making a mandrel shaft. A used crank is usually a lot LOT less than a custom mandrel....

A used crank is usually a lot LOT less than a custom mandrel.... I am aware of that, but it will give me more headache to get the crank out or even buy a new one. I have heard of some balancing mashines which can balance any flywheel using the center bearing hole only.
