SupraLEDrears
So I get this every now and again. Might be caused by the vibrations I'm suffering from. Is there a wire I can check?
ScottC
Possibly a dodgy brake light lamp. Have two of the rear brake lights been converted to fog lights? It could be a loose wire to the resistors which stops that warning light coming on after the conversion.

kitch79
I had a similar issue. Took the light cluster out, removed the lamps, and looked ok, put them back in and it worked. Couple of days later off again. On a closer inspection one lamps element had came away, sometimes making the circuit - sometimes not. Pulled it out, replaced it, fine now
Chris Wilson
You haven't fitted any LED bulbs have you? The warning system measures current draw, and LED's do not draw much current...

The 4 501s are but been in for a year with the hids. I reckon it's shaken something loose with the vibrations I've been having.
trebor69
Mine has been on permanently since I got the car but all lights work fine , must be the cheapo dodgy fog/brake light doodah.
Style
I had this on for ages and it turned out to be the PCB for the fog light that I have wired in was goosed. Visually it looks fine but for some reason it's given up

Visually it looks fine but for some reason it's given up I've had the same problem. I only spotted it when I reversed up again a window and notice that when I hit the brakes one light came on a little later than the others and over time it got worse until it stopped working. Turned out to be the foglight pcb.
