Si_s Supe
Every time I start my car, the climate control defaults itself to recirculate the air. I don't want it to recirculate the air! Haha. I find it so annoying having to press the fresh air button EVERY TIME I get in the car! I don't remember my last Supra doing this. How can I change it?? mick901
Mine does this, find myself pressing the button every time I start the car!
imi
mine used to do this too - leaving it in manual mode solved the problem.
Mgrene
Mine does the same. Freakin' annoying
David P
mine used to do this too - leaving it in manual mode solved the problem. Maybe the O.P. should trade in his 6-speed for an auto.
Guest Budz86
Turn the air con off and switch the auto button to the other setting
Si_s Supe
Turn the air con off and switch the auto button to the other setting Erm...but I want the A/C on! Haha. Any other car I've had with ACC, you press auto and invariably it sets itself to recirc but once you switch that off it stays off until you press auto again! Which is rubbish! Then again, if that's all I can gripe about, it's a pretty good car ay!
Guigsy
Yeah. Turn the auto function off or it defaults to recirc. Once it's on the other setting (think you can turn it off too) then you can set it manually as you like
Si_s Supe
Nope, even with auto fully switched off, the bugger STILL reverts to recirc at startup! My car is hell bent on feeding me recycled farts!!!
foodfreak
with your temperature dial on low it will always default to recirc.
Si_s Supe
Why???
ScottC
Maybe it was so the Japenese didn't have to switch over to recirculating everytime they started the car.
David P
Maybe Japs savour the smell of their own farts?
neilp9876
with your temperature dial on low it will always default to recirc. Don't all cars do this since it's easier to chill the air. I think my other car will go back to normal once the desired temp is met.

Cipriani
The land cruiser I have out in Dubai right now does it to. Think it's to stop you getting hot in the face with hot air on start up, handy in these hot parts
fastcar
Yeah my car does this aswell. Ummmm that's it really
Si_s Supe
I've resigned myself to just pressing the button everytime. 3rd world problems ay!? Haha. Had a play over the last few days. ONCE it's stayed on 'fresh air mode'. All other times it's reverted to recirc. I can get over it. Was just wandering if thee was a way to stop it.
