np89
You can get a wee rubber wheel that fits in your drill from any motor factors, will remove it the very best - - - Updated - - - just go easy otherwise it will need painted - - - Updated - - - you'll have to let it dry and harden again first tho
Jurgen-Jm-Imports
had a feeling mate, what we do is use a heat gun mate then panel wipe it off - takes time but does the job ;-)
Glanza_Mike
Excellent thanks mate! I'll give that a go tomorrow afternoon, now just to get it off my hands and then do the other side haha
Si_s Supe
There is an actual product called Sticky Stuff Remover, and it's awesome! Dissolves Tiger Seal without issue and is safe on paintwork. I used it after trying everything else to remove Tiger Seal after removing some side skirts from my old RS Roadster.

Glanza_Mike
Bought some sticky stuff remover this morning, been usng it for an hour and no progress made. It's completely useless lol
Kendo11
Mate if it's tiger seal then it will 100% need abrasive removal and repainting
Al Massey
Bought some sticky stuff remover this morning, been usng it for an hour and no progress made. It's completely useless lol Tiger seal isn't sticky stuff so that won't work. That's good for stickers and the like. Tiger seal is a bonding seal Like uses for windows in your house. Si_s Supe
Bought some sticky stuff remover this morning, been usng it for an hour and no progress made. It's completely useless lol Worked a treat for me!! Removed down to within 1mm of the paint with a sharp blade, sprayed Sticky Stuff Remover on, left for 5-10 mins then literally wiped it off with blue roll!! I know it was proper Tiger Seal as I watched the garage bond them on when I first bought the car!!
Glanza_Mike
Yeah Jurgen I bought a heat fun this afternoon from Argos! Got the seal red hot too hot to touch and the seal didn't even change at all or get sticky or anything. Tried rubbing I'd down with panel wipes and also tried to scrape it off, won't budge. I'm gone take the other guys advice and contact a body shop on Monday, get it sanded off and re-sprayed. I think it's the only way now. gordy.r
Just a thought... Glanza_Mike
Haha, I did consider it tbh lol but I much prefer the stock body look so they are gonna have to go haha Hopefully Mr body shop man won't rape my wallet too hard...... KamaSupra
LOL I am so glad I haven't got this trouble I hope you get it off all ok, I haven't got any idea of how you would remove it. I'd have just kept the skirts and spats on to save the trouble, I think all you can do is put it in at a body shop unfortunately I have a photo of your Supra and mine together (Sort of) at JM Imports from last Saturday
Glanza_Mike
Haha, nice pic your colour really shines in the light very nice Oh and BOOMMMMMM Spent couple hours on it this morning, taking Jurgens advice once more but being more patient with it and it does actually work Just takes a lot of patience. Unfortunately there are a few score marks on the paint where i have obviously just nicked it with the scalpel when cutting the seal and it's going to need paint anyway. But at least i can do it in my own time now and don't have to do it immediately. Now i just have to do the other side
