TuneR
Looks well mate, i always thought that kit would look better with the standard facelift lights though. Get some proper pics up.

Why T
Right results of mapping. Just over 500bhp. Well happy as that's what the turbo is rated too. Now I want more hahaha
Why T
So been away from the supra for a while and have a new car purchase but wanting to get back on it. The fortune broke down a while Back and would not start. Something with the syvecs. Got this checked by the team at syvecs and it’s fine so one of the sensors has gone. Just needing to to get Paul @whifbitz to remote in and see what he can see. Also what do people think of this look rather than what I have? With regards to The spoiler. dangerous brain
I've popped back on a nostalgic trip down vehicle memory lane. I have so far discovered that 2 vehicles that I used to own and love (potentially more than my children) have been stripped and sold as parts I almost purchased this particular vehicle myself when it first came up in Japan for export (the chop job on the roof put me off). I have gone back through the whole start to finish build thread and still believe that the colour it came in to the country was the best colour its been (for me white lends itself towards a cheap tupperware appearance). Given the current strength in the supra market this motor must now finally be worth the vast fortunes (pun intended) that have been pushed in to it. Why T
Tbh I’m not [emoji817] what the colour was when it was imported. I believe black. I also feel what is not the collie it should be but that the last thing on my mind with this car. I need a new engine loom and that’s priority atm. I am hooding that once it’s back up and running to its former glory then it will be worth a pretty penny.
Why T
So Allan Massey said about the forum not being used as much. So here I am. It’s been about 2 1/2 years since she broke down with an error code on the syvecs. No body could tell me what the problem was fully. So I sent the Syvecs unit back to be checked over and all was fine with it. Which I was happy about. I remember someone telling me about a mechanic local ish to my so have him a call. He picked it up. Ran some tests. And it turns out that the Engine loom was cause of the problem. New loom done. New sensors all round and some new audi coil packs fitted. Injectors tested and a ballast for the injectors were missing Today I got a video of her running again. Goosebumps! Yes she is vdirty. I need a good detailer is anyone knows of any in East anglia. I can’t remember how to upload videos
mellonman
Wow it must have broke down straight after it was finished did you not have a come back on the fitter ? Glad to hear it's back running some faults can take time if Intermittent I was chasing down a misfire for about 2 years which turnt out to be a connector in the passenger foot well . Still hopefully that's the end of the issues and you can enjoy it

But Whifbitz didn’t really wanna peice from what I remember for whatever reason. I’m hoping so. Some extra stuff is being done to modernize it. Just looking forward to getting it back
Why T
So went to MB to look at the car and have a chat. So the wiring for the Syvecs to the sensors were all basically speaker wire. The way the map sensor was fitted is what caused the initial problem with the 5v fault on the Syvecs is what cause the problem. This is actually really frustrating considering how much money was paid for the work. Getting the front brakes refurbed with all new pistons seals and fitting kits. Also changing the injectors to some Siemens Deka 850s I think. Looking forward to getting her back.

What I got told was that speaker wire was used for the engine loom sensors etc. And yes the Syvecs was installed along with all the sensors by Whifbitz I’m afraid to say.
