Why T
How did you get the rear quarter windows out? It's looking really good, love the green These were already out mate however its just sealant so a heat gun with some outward preassure should get it loose. also there should be 2-3 screws holding it on. Thnks mate, the green is nice. cnt wait till there fitted with my SRD intake

Why T
So today did some more wiring in the form of the front loom with the Fuse box. Now I'm trying to have all the wires as hidden as I can. So placed them in line to have a look. The plastics that go near the lights had to be removed and i re tapped the wires to make it neat. Did the same on both sides. Zip tied in place for now till i can get some clips. The ABS relays are gonna be underneath the offside wing to keep them hidden. Now been playing with the Fuse box to figure out where i could put it. I know people have tried every which way possible but I still tried. I know that's a silly place but really couldn't fit it any where else. As i don't want it in the bay this came with the car when I got it. It has already been lengthened what looks like enough to go into the cab. So I will be cutting and rejoining it all. Question is I want to be able to disconnect them again so are bullet connectors or similar OK to use on this. Suggestions will be much appreciated. So before I do all that decided to carry on with the interior, So I sorted out the engine loom so everything goes through the same hole again to make it neater. Put it through the hole into the cab so its there and then I can continue with the dash. Once it was in, I connected what I can then placed the heater matrix unit in. I hope it still works as well as the fuse box as I know they have been sat for a few years. I'm guessing there is no way to tell until everything is complete? so tomorrow, steering column and bar then maybe the dash can all go in. gavin.starr
If your going to cut your loom to re locate the fuse box somewhere in thcab using crimps. Space your crimps out otherwise you will end up with a clump of crimps in one area which may prove harder to hide, and i would also purchase a propper crimping tool and crimps. As the plastic coated crimps from the likes of halfords are just shite. Get some like these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3mm-Brass-Bullet-F-Crimp-Terminals-and-Covers-400pcs-/271557135646?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f3a110d1e#ht_55wt_1181 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RATCHET-CRIMPING-TOOL-FOR-NON-INSULATED-CRIMP-TERMINAL-CONNECTOR-BLUE-/190879714786?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item2c71514de2#ht_344wt_1181 Im sure you know that lol but i just thought i would share. Why T
So after a couple of weeks with parades, marches and bull**** with work I finally got some time working with the car. Got a fair bit done today with some help from my mates. First off continued to sound proof the car but I ran out of sheets so I need to buys some more but, its looking good. Worked on the brake caps as well. Cleaned them and took off the horrible silver that was on there. The green is a bit too green so not 100% about it but this is only temp till Dim Sum is back up and running and Im in the uk. One is fitted just got to get round to doing the others. What do you think? Fitted the clutch Master cylinder, very well polished again by Mr Rob Mitchell thanks, aswell as the Throttle cable and the Polished fuel filler necks. They look especially good. Thanks Rob Couple of other small bits where done as well but not really interesting. More soon

Just need to wire them in once I figure out what i can connect them to. Any ideas? Bit that connects to the seat. Switch to mount on the dash. I also tidied up the wires to the rear and placed the amp wires in position. Hopefully Ill get the rest of the interior in on Wednesday before i go on Xmas Leave. Why T
Been a very productive day today. Managed to get quite a bit done on the interior. First off I did the rear aerotop seal. Pretty simple to do and looks pretty good. As I had no metal bits that go between the front seal and the A pillar I used the ones from the hard top and cut them down. they actually look really good. I then went on to fit the Front seal. Had to make sure that with every seal that they were pushed into the grooves correctly. From there I focused on the roof itself. First off I placed everything out on the roof. 2x Seals L+R, 2x Brackets L+R I then went on to fit the re-trimmed leather roof lining, Fairly simple. And then on to the seals on the side. So that's brand new seals all round. God i hope it doesn't leak but we will have to wait and see. And then a test fit of the roof to see what it looks like and how it lines up. I am well chuffed with it. Then on to the interior. Carried on with the quarter panels and the roof. Fits well and looks really good. Due to the roll cage the roof was modified to fit and works well. One pic is with out the extra bit and one with. I then put the roof on again to see how it looks. Awesome I might say. Carried on with the plastics left and right and the kick panels that holds the carpet to the side. Rear seats in. The rear back rest doesn't fold forward now, roll cage is in the way lol.
