supradanturbo
Today me and supraleeturbo installed a fmic on my tt supra. And everything is fine other than the centre warning light being on and the spoiler light flashing. Any ideas ? Cheers
Littler
Sounds like the active spoiler ecu is still plugged in, I had to take mine out when I had fitted the FMIC was fitted (the car supraleeturbo now has)
mwilkinson
So, you have just removed your active spoiler? Do you still need the active spoiler under tray?
supradanturbo
Pretty sure it was attached to the spoiler ? - - - Updated - - - Don't need any of it
Ric
You need to disconnect the ECU for the spoiler, behind the Stereo
sCaz
I have disconnected the spoiler button and put a metal clip between 2 pins. The same is done on the connector which was connected to the spoiler engine. Without the clips to the pins the warning light comes on. Not sure if this is what people mean by "disconnecting the ecu" but if it is, I can take pictures of the pins that needs to be wired if you like? There is a 8cm by 6cm box ECU behind the stereo, it needs disconnecting.

supradanturbo
All solved now so I shall have a front active spoiler with the ecu for sale. No idea what it's worth it is silver but has chips etc all working fine

I might have wrongly figured that the 2 minute bridging job was the "standard" way of doing it and I imagined disconnecting an ECU would throw some fault codes, so I mentioned it. Anyways, I would think leaving the ECU and bridging the button connector would be appealing to some especially if you don't have a double-din stereo like myself.
