Bpu?

I'm in need of some advise, I've installed all bpu parts over the last few months. I have hit fuel cut a couple of times when going over 1bar so I installed a hks fcd. Took it out for some high boost runs and it's hitting over 1.1 bar some times 1.2 bar reading On the boost gauge and no longer hitting fuel cut Thing is I've got a BC to install but is there any need as I only want to run 1.2 bar anyways? Any other gains ?

 

Also how I'm i hitting 1.2 bar when I have a uk spec?

Without a boost controller on my UK model (all other BPU mods installed) I recall I got around 1.05 bar - which is about right. I've no idea how you could get 1.2 bar without a BC. Could your boost gauge possibly be inaccurate?

Sounds like the boost gauge is reading wrong. 1 bar is around the max on a UK spec as said. It's either that or your wastegates are faulty.

 

Definitely put in the boost controller, it'll get to and hold peak far more efficiently.

Ok will install the BC, my boost gauge has always read right as a checked the boost when stock and then with the cats out and was spot on. Its only hitting 1.1 1.2 bar since installing the hks fcd. I will have to look at the wastegates.
