sean2kuk
Hello guys.....Ive been looking into smartening up my engine bay but all ive found is afew ebay items...stainless covers for the brake and power steering reservoir. .. Is there any websites that sell the sort of stuff id need? What have u guys done to make your engine compartment stand out? Obviously a nice big single turbo would be nice but that wont be happening anytime soon. Can the standard inlet manifold be polished up? mplavery
Hi mate Here is mine Most of the stuff under the hood needs taking off and polishing up ... Darnley Auto Works (trader on here) done almost all of my bay inc 24ct gold plating I have. High recommended .. You can also buy carbon/ chrome parts from Whifbitz and SRD .. The only issue you might have is getting the chrome fan shroud because as far as I know they don't make them anymore
DaveR
Click here. There're plenty of options for simple bolt on stuff, but really the only solution for a properly nice engine bay is taking things apart and applying some elbow grease. Or lots of cash, whichever comes most easily to you...
tomgeer
I decide to smarten my engine bay up last year, nothing like some of the stunning examples on here but it only took a couple of weeks and about £120. It's made a decent improvement in my opinion, trouble is you soon lose interest in keeping it shiny if you are anything like me Edited June 23, 2014 by tomgeer (see edit history)

tooquicktostop
Its a slippery slope once you start and expensive, be very aware that any shiny bit you add makes all the other bits look knackered, I have done 4 bays now, money down the drain in most cases
