Guest Facerape
Hi I'm really having trouble after my new built. first of all my spec list: 2x255walbro Brian Crower 272 cams with springs Sard 800CC injectors High impedance Big ass Precision turbocharger Emanage Ultimate + 3bar greddy mapsensor 3" exhaust Blitz SBC boost controller I really can't make it idle at all, with the stock injectors 380cc no probs at all. It idles roughly , and if you ever trying touching the throttle it dies straight away. I'm starting to think, it maybe the emanage that's making trouble. But last season it worked like a charm. Maybe its a parameter, i'm missing?? iv'e tried the anti stall function, but was no go at all... Does any of you have a map, i could try? Best regards Simon
Ian C
What's your current map like? Can you attach it here, then I can have a look. Any idling datalogs? What millisecond duration is it running at idle? Your choice of username is rather dubious, don't be surprised if it gets changed for you. Guest FullAttack
You should be running a standalone with a setup like that.. Why spend a fortune on parts then skimp on ecu!?!?
little num
You should be running a standalone with a setup like that.. Why spend a fortune on parts then skimp on ecu!?!? My thoughts exactly, at least get yourself a HKS GOLD 3.2 as that runs mine really nice and I have similar setup - 264 hks cams uprated valve springs and 87mm CP pistons. youll have to speak to a mapper who knows your ecu to see whats going on. Ian C
Ah yes, I forgot any old full standalone fixes everything with magic fairy dust and any piggyback causes immediate explosions if you try to use it with a single non-stock part
Alex
What's the adjustment range on the EMU Ian? I forget. Only wondering if the 800's are too big if 380's were the stock ECU base line? Ie more than double...
