walkerstrider
How long will it take to swap over cross member on my driveway? Its the steel one atvthe back of the engine. On axel stands. Its a n/a. Is it a difficult job? Cheers in advance Edited June 11, 2014 by walkerstrider (see edit history)
bignum
Should be pretty easy as long as all the bolts come out ok, the problem ones are the camber adjusting bolts that connect the bottom arms, spray plenty of penetrating lube around them beforehand. Ric
Isn't the front crossmember spot welded to the chassis? But that's at the front of the engine which houses the radiator. I assume you are talking about something else

Why do you need to do it by the way, can't imagine they break?
Ric
I know the subframe is easy to remove but he didn't ask for that did he.. Hence the question
