I have a 2jzgte, that shakes a littlebit.. when the engine is on idle you can see on the engine it shakes and you can feel the shake when you hold on the trottlebody, and it follows revs up to about 2000, but the higher you go up the rpm, the less it shakes, but it dosent stop shaking 100%..

the thinks i have checked..

new sparks plug

compression test 180 psi on all 6 cyl on hot engine

it sparks on 6 coil packs

it fuel on all 6 gasoline nozzle

i have ohm the coil packs, and they say 1.2Ω on all 8 on hot engine.

the engine sounds healthy, and drive like normal.. the only thing is that is shakes.. where could the problem else be???

i have tried to look under the car when it idle.. and i can see the transmission shake too with the engine... the mounts look fine on both sides. there is the same Little slip on them both.. if you stand in the front off the car, it is like i shake more on the intake side.. the turbo side look come and steedy...

Check the crank damper isn't breaking up (Tipex test). If it has a none stock clutch and flywheel, particularly a CHEAP none stock clutch or flywheel, I have known them be wildly out of balance. If, at idle, you feel the vibration through the steering wheel, and it's a late model car ("facelift"), suspect the engine mountings though, as others have said. They'll LOOK fine, but probably be shot. Fit new early mounts and used early brackets, they give very little bother.
