Guest Jason1
Hi folks I am sure my turbos aren't running right I did a bit of work on the car yesterday, fitted billstein shocks (thanks to a member on here) and I was surprised on how much stuff was loose on the car, Bottom ball joints weren't even tight? No wonder I had a few rattles Also now full 3" system fitted. Anyway now the car handles as it should I decided to have a spirited drive and I can just not feel any dip or a shove from the second turbo? I have checked all connections, hoses etc and cannot find fault with anything. If I drive the car (auto) I just get a pull from 3k right through. At 3k .0bar, at 3.5k .5bar and at 4k .9bar. This is steady acceleration However If I floor it then a boost spike to a bar the back down to .7bar then it will settle at .9bar Does this seem right as I am not sure Thanks
Nic
The first turbo should be coming in at around 1.8K rpm the 2nd turbo at around 3.5K rpm, from your description it sounds like both turbos are set up to run in parallel. Here are some threads in the FAQ section that may be of help. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?35924-Sequential-turbo-hoses&highlight=sequential http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?35926-The-sequential-system&highlight=sequential http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?27904-Sequential-turbo-problems&highlight=sequential
Guest Jason1
Thanks for that I have checked the vac lines and the operation of the Exhaust valve and they seem to be all good. Could it be possible that a vsv or similar has given up and I am only using one turbo?

I have put it back to how it should be and it us the same as before, any chance a vsv is stopping one if the turbos working correctly?
