bpu power increase?

You can slightly increase the N/A with Double Decat, decent Panel Filter in the Stock Filter Box and a decent free flowing exhaust

These are my last Dyno figures before doing a TT transplant.

My N/A Engine was always a very strong engine though

Also a full service, new plugs and keeping the Oil fresh helps

The lower graph is just with the bung in the exhaust, it's amazing how power you loose when restricting the exhaust flow

You are looking at a 30bhp increase, maybe a touch more if you have a healthy engine to start with, I was still running a stock manifold, which would of been my next upgrade

In all honesty, if you want decent figures you need to look at going NA-T or doing a TT transplant

You won't get a reasonable power increase from a naturally aspired engine, unless you spend a lot of money.

A NA-T or TT engine would be the only off the shelf solution if you look for 240+ bhp.

You can try to loose some weight from the car to get a better power to weight ratio.

30 horse powers not too shabby, think thatd be sufficient I dont exactly race it. Think the engines good, got full history for it just had the belts done and serviced. It has done 326000 kilometers tho, just over 200000 miles!

Jesus. I would be getting it dyno'd to see how much life it has left.

Fitting a catback exhaust and decat pipes on a 2JZGE will only gain you a few hp's, perhaps 8-10hp at most, what it does do though is make the car feel a little more responsive and feel like it revs freer. It'll also make the car VERY loud particularly if you have a 3" exhaust fitted.

I'd ditch the cone filter and fit the stock airbox back on.

Had one but the fuel costs and insurance was killing me. Have to travel 54 miles to work everyday and can get around 30 mpg out of the N/A. Plus the future wife loves getting the roof off so she can pose! :D

If you never see positive boost, the NA and TT should get around the same MPG.
