Steve
these events are costly and the time that goes in must be a few evenings, hope that the next list and those who wanted to go will step up and make it worth it. Its a lot more than a few evenings
TT Paul
Its a lot more than a few evenings ok 3 evenings sat drinking at the keyboard, amusing us all ha ha
Luxluc
My excuses guys. I did put my name quickly on the list once DB14 v2 thread was launched.(still too much adrenaline after DB14). However, the arrival of our new baby 2 weeks ago has messed up my agenda. Can't wait for DB15 thus. Cheers. Luc
Fizzy T
I've never driven a car aboard and I'm too poor right now to contemplate doing anything but staying in and living off rice and pasta.
Steve Paine
I think that once you put your name down as going £100 deposit should be taken. This could then fund club travel insurance which if the non attendee has a genuine reason for not being able to attend the ins co would pay out. Win win situation. Club doesn't loose. Member doesn't loose!
Chris Bailey
I think that a deposit should be paid for every event the club organises, why should the events team put all there own time and effort in to organise events for then people to say sorry I cant make it. I'd love to do Dragonball again this year, but unfortunately ive already got time off work early September and cannot afford to take more time off. Josh42
Thanks for your PM Steve, Once again guys, I must apologies profusely. I was intent on going, however, as the supra is my only car and the bottom end has failed, I just can't commit to going yet. I'm not even sure I'll have a running car in time:(
Dragonball
Still up for this all being well - will confirm this week :-)
imi
Steve - thanks for your PM. Was looking forward to this trip - really disappointed that I won't be able to make it due to work commitments abroad. imi
Steve
Come on guys, spaces were secured for this based on the list of how many people were interested originally. With the low number confirmed/paid its going to cost the club a lot of money.
Benjy
I just spoke to the wife about taking one of the places even though she originally said no to me doing 2 DB's this year. She came round to the idea but then pointed out we've got a holiday booked that weekend!! Absolutely gutted! As already mentioned, deposits should be paid before bookings are made in future. Makes life slightly more difficult but at least the club won't lose any money!
johnny g
Personally, I think everyone who put their name down and dropped out should donate £50 to the club to minimise the loss that the club takes, and let it be a lesson on putting your name down willy-nilly. Steve Paine
Well this looks like it will be awash with Supras. Come on guys and girls commit! Was hoping to be part of a mega convoy for more than half a day! Unlike So near so Spa!

Jos
Sorry for my lack off input, have been busy with vacation and various other occupations:blush:, some of these are still ongoing and I am not 100% sure I can make dragonball in september, but I would not have a problem paying a contribution for already made costs. But if I could make it, howmuch would hotel costs be without tickets for the channel?, as I won't be needing those.
MRX
I'm hoping to join you guys on this as Suprapod is off. Will confirm next weekend.
Branners
Would be great to see you there. Shame the numbers arent up for this, but will still be great as I can keep the convoy together better with lower numbers.
Steve Paine
J.B are you putting the route files up in the near future? Have got stickers coming from Wile e Coyote! And are you booked in to the travel lodge at Ashford for the Thursday night?
Branners
Hi Steve, I will be working on the routes this week, it will be a version of the Rouen routes from 2 years ago, with various tweaks to include the hotel change and a wee wee stop on the Sunday morning part!! I cannot afford to do the usual free stickers for this event as we are losing enough as it is, but I'm sure others would happily buy some from you if you are getting them. Steve Paine
J. B I just messaged Wile e coyote and he arranged a full set , as I had ripped my so near do spa ones off in disgust. If anyone wants them I am sure he will be able to sort in time. I wasn't expecting any stickers as I know how light this event has become. Such a shame! TT Paul
looking an epic event so low numbers but who cares, it's the people that make the event and stickers!! if darren sends you too many i'll take some can paypal money over

Abz
Put it this way the two best Dragonball's over the past 4 years have to be DB11 and DB14. DB11 had roughly 22 cars, And it was fab because we was all able to hang around together, eat together & convoy together. We had some hilarious moments because of the closeness of the group. Still chuckling to myself on some of the moments
