gordy.r
Maybe a strange question, but I'm looking at having something fabricated and need to know the ambient and peak engine temperatures around the location of the air box area in the Supra TT engine bay (up to and including BPU spec). Anyone have any readings available or am I going to have to wing / do some recordings myself?
Wez
Surely this would vary greatly on weather and use, ie sat in traffic for hours under the scorching sun or motorway cruise in winter.

Yes very true, but the standard plastics inside the engine bay must be rated to some sort of temperature, and if I can find out what that is then that will be my minimum heat range.
