jjs_82
About 550-
MattP
About 550-600 The only other one I can think of is James single VVTI but I'm sure there are more out there
Chris Bailey
Johnny G's was about 600bhp at the hubs I thought, there was also the Australian dude with yhe big single turbo vvti but cant remember his name.
MattP
All I have heard is that there have been impressive results with regard to low down torque compared to non VVTI 2JZGTE but then again with regard to how effective they actually are and when they run out of puff Im not to sure. Ask Ryan what he has achieved Jamie he will probably have more of an idea being the guy who sees the graph differences between VVTI and Non VVTI
Chris Wilson
Johnny's had none stock cams from what I recall, do you mean on STOCK VVTi cams Jamie?
johnny g
Mine was 638 at the hubs, running Titan 264's at 1.4bar, but I was completely strangled by the Tanabe Medallion 3" exhaust. I've seen a VVTi on 800bhp with just the exhaust cam changed (and other usual mods). If I was going to do this again, I'd do exactly the same as last time, just with a 4" exhaust. Brazil
If / when I get my car back together with a forged block, refreshed head with 264 cams exhaust side I will come back and let you know. Lee P
Stock cams should be good for nice power with the Vvti Most of the aftermarket cams available are reground. Needs a set of SRD VVTI billet cams
Luxluc
He on stock cams? 685 is plenty. Ibrar's torque curve is impressive ... spools very quick (400 tq by 4k on SRR dyno). Would love to see the difference on ethanol. Come on Jamie
