skippyboyo1
I feel my friendly mechanic may have put his prices up so wanted a guide as to how much I'd expect to pay for the following.... I'm just after a labour estimate as I have all the parts to do the job Fit new clutch Fit new water pump Change oil/filter Change brake fluid Change coolant Mot (it needs nothing to pass so just the cost of the mot) I thought £200 but apparently I'm out on that price. Thoughts?
ManwithSupra
A clutch alone you would be looking at £150-200 probably, I reckon £350-450 in total for all that
Chris Bailey
If you could get all that done for £200 I'd be gobsmacked. I'd say thats going to be £500 in labour. Edited June 3, 2014 by Chris Bailey (see edit history)
mplavery
My guess would be double what your thinking of I would expect that the labour just doing the clutch would be that
Havard
I am a bargain hunter but I would expect my mechanic to be £350 at mates rates.

Style
Easily double your expected price mate, I paid 180 for a clutch replacement alone which I thought was quite good really.

Kaan W
That's an excellent price..! Good luck with the MOT
SupraP-Z
I would've said around the £200-250 mark is an excellent rate and for all of that I would be willing to pay upto 300 or so. If someone quoted me 500 for all of that, I would walk away. Most of it is fairly simple, most laborious task is the clutch.
Chris Wilson
I would fit a new cambelt at the same time as the extra labour should be £00.00, which should appeal

Hammer
Not surprised you have such a lovely looking Supra if that's all you pay on labour rates leaves you loads to spend on the nice bits.
