Homer
I'm still not sure about this, will decide tomorrow! My car has a few things that I could get rectification notices/fines for (nothing safety related, just regulations stuff), not sure if its worth risking it for this meet... dangerous brain
Man where the hell was everybody??? Looks like it was left to me to wipe the floor with everyone I beat their current strip record of 144 with a rather lame 146mph run. The one they didn't actually get on record was the 154 mph run I did with the roof off !!!! I whipped all of the cars there at head to head down the runway. They didn't do the 1/4 mile as they decided using the full runway would be much more fun The heavily modified evo 7 fq300 wasn't impressed when I hauled his ass in by 60mph and then drubbed his ass all the way up to 140mph . The only car that came close was a serious sierra cosworth but I dispatched that by 100mph. Now I can see why people want manual motors, I didn't even manage a squeek every time I pulled off the line with traction control completely off The only motorbike there was stunned when on the rolling runs I not only stuck with him but passed him once it was a 7rx or summat like that. Well the honour of the supra was upheld anyways.
Class One
Chuffed for you mate, glad you had a good time and all for a fiver! take it there were no vehicle examiners and such like there then?
Homer
take it there were no vehicle examiners and such like there then? Yeah that! Checked my front tyres this morning and they were border line (1.7mm for about 80% of the width), plus I don't have a front plate and no cats, so thought I better not go... dangerous brain
To be honest the bloke that organised it was the best ever copper I ever met. They didn't check any MOT or anything at all. There were some cars there that looked a bit ropy and they weren't checked. The organisers just wanted some top wagons there and because it had the support of the chief superintendent they had to put all that jazz on the flyer. Class One
Well I'm sorry if I put off any members here who wished to go. It wasn't my intention to piss on anyone's party, just looking out for you all!
