rdwg
Has anyone had any experience with the "O/D off" warning light flashing on and off The O/D works fine and can be turned off as normal but when it is switched on - it flashes on and off I suspect an electrical fault but just wondered if anyone else had experienced it
LOGIE
Usually indicates an autobox fault. Have you changed the oil and strainer lately? Check all electrical connectors on the box also. Check ATF level also.
Tommyd16
Does mean you have fault codes

peter richards
speed sensor is the most likely fault , mine starts flashing over say 60 ,red triangle then comes on , car drives ok , bit annoying but ive got used to it
scott.wild
Try getting the error codes, the usual culprit is a speed sensor or speed converter if you have one fitted. It could also be a lose cable/connector somewhere, i hopefully have resolved mine after changing the gearbox oil/filter and solenoids and the autobox ecu. Fingers crossed. scott.wild
Did you manage to get the error codes, i think i have finally fixed mine, 2 blown capacitors in the ECU.
