Wrong OEM Spoiler??

When I bought my supra the spoiler was off and the panel holes welded up and I was handed the wing as part of the purchase. It's sat in my shed for 3yrs, finally had it fitted by a body shop.

I think the fitting is wrong and because the spoiler is too big? It overhangs the panel lines - now I don't think it's a poor fitting as it's just too wide? Looking at web images the spoiler usually sits further up (thus narrower) and comfortably inside the panel line

Am I going nuts? There aren't two wing sizes for a supra?

I've never seen that one before.

Did you go to the "Jazzi" School of Photography? ;)

Nic,

I have one of those on mine and have read elsewhere on the forum that it's a Bomex Fast & Furious?

You've forgotten more than I'll ever know about after market body bits and I'm now curious to know exactly what it is.

Do you have one of your infamous links?

Thank you.

Excuse the thread hijack. :innocent:

Blimey that's an eyesore, always, always, always test fit body parts before handing them to a body shop. Do you know if the body shop managed to put a seal under the wing? it looks like it hangs over the boot shut lines.

Hi Dave, it's a GReddy rear wing, they are listed on their website still, see here http://www.trust-power.com/08aerostyle/jza80.html

Here's a link to the Bomex rear wings http://bomexaeroco.com/bomex/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=157_141
