Jamesy
Hi guys Looking for some detailed info on the Tein range of coilovers please. I gather from a bit of research that the Street Flex is one of their best and replaced the Type Flex. They also have the Mono Flex (old version) and Mono Sport(new version) Just wondered if anyone in the know has knowledge and experience of these? I am needing a set that are going to give really good handling, mainly street use with te occassional track. Not overly harsh but important that they arent soft and spongy. Most important is to find a set of these that alolow the car to be seriously low and still maintain stiffness. Help please
Fitz
Have you considered HKS Hipermax III?

Ric
Im going to go with the street flex with the new Advanced EDFC which adjusts the damping on the fly depending on driving condition (not manual changes)
mattdavies
What about KWs ? Or do these not go low enough ? The other thing to consider is changing the springs to shorter harder springs to allow you to go low enough but not be sitting just off the bump stop ( which can be shortened to allow more travel ) Have you considered a decent air set up ? Brazil
I went from Tein Super Street to Meister R and the difference was very noticeably I would say improved handling by by 60% ! The car feels lots more centered around corners and it's super smooth for everyday driving and no crashing..! jazz1
I would go with the mono flex from my research, also EDFC seems great. If your going down the Tein route get these mounts. http://www.tein.co.uk/product/pillowball_upper_mount.html Edited May 29, 2014 by jazz1 (see edit history)
Kilps
James, talk to Lee about his old Teins. They're on my car at the moment but I'll be looking to replace them soon as they're a bit harsher than I want. I think they're the Mono Flex (I can't actually remember off hand) and they have the EDFC with them.
